If you experience a qualifying event, you can make mid-year changes to your benefit elections.

Qualifying life events include, but are not limited to:

  • Birth or adoption of child
  • Marriage, divorce, or legal separation
  • Change in eligibility or employment status
  • Death of your spouse or covered child

You must notify Human Resources within {30} days of the qualifying event to make changes to your coverage. You will need to provide documentation of the event, such as a marriage license, divorce decree, or birth certificate. Benefit changes must be consistent with the qualifying event.

How Can I Save Money with Tax-Free Accounts (FSAs and HSA)?

Flexible Spending Accounts and Health savings Accounts are two different types of tax-free accounts that are available to you as part of your TriMark benefits.

With these two accounts have in common is that you contribute to them before you pay income tax on your earnings – thus stretching the dollars you have to spend on healthcare.

  • For 2026, the Healthcare/Limited Purpose FSA limit is $3,400
  • The Dependent Care FSA contribution limit is $5,000. For individuals that are married and filing separately, you may each contribute $2,500.

If you enroll in the UHC High Deductible Health Plan, you may be eligible to enroll in a Health Savings Account.

  • The HSA contribution limit for 2026 is $4,400 for individuals and $8, 750 for families.

TriMark will contribute $125 quarterly ($500 annually) for employee only, employee + spouse, employee + children coverage and $250 quarterly ($1,000 annually) for employee + family coverage (some exclusion apply).

If you are 55 years of age and older, you can contribute $1,000 additional dollars.
